"This time we are going for a more eclectic kind of electronic, the alternative and experimental pop from Andrea Pizzo and The Purple Mice a super project of various creatives, with their most recent release, the diverse and flagrantly ominous song "The Machine".
The style of the song is a peculiar one in terms of the versatile musical elements blended in that result in a deep interesting rough artistic atmosphere and subversiveness in its own way.
Andrea and co achieve a new kind of creative electro-punk that emphasizes vocal performance that sometimes reminds of the edgy and flamboyant vocal executions from the legendary Diamanda Galas, and also offering a more contemporary rough sound that fits perfectly with his solid, defiant vocal texture and performance.
Another perspective is that of a theatrical futuristic approach in Andrea's musical production, challenging the usual genre stereotypes, embracing a diverse atmosphere of musical experimental elements, giving a new meaning to the term ECLECTIC, the fresh spontaneous tones riding a minimalistic drum track finalizing on an intense anthemic vocal outro, that is complex while also managing to be doomy when Andrea's vocals mutate to exude a unique sense of desperation and apocalyptic indulgence.

we are Andrea Pizzo and The Purple Mice, a collective of artists that mixes rock, pop and electronic music. Our new single is called “The Machine” and it is a song that reflects on the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence, between emotions and algorithms, between freedom and control.
