"Chaos Curb Collaboration delivers a powerful and emotional synthwave song in 'You Are...' about spirituality and freedom, the emotive tones are guaranteed to keep your attention until the end; The production is top notch, and they add some electric guitars to contrast with all the synth heavy layers that give the track an additional shine and romantic vibes to it. If you like spiritual journeys this is the perfect track for it."

INSIDE THE TRACK: [artist's commentary]
chaos-curb-collaboration-you-are
We are a band of believers, but not necessarily comfortable with the tag, 'Christian Band'. So, this is a song about God, without saying 'God'. By God I guess we mean that sense of awe at something bigger, loving, and beautiful than ourselves.
It started as all our songs do, with a programmed bunch of tracks on a laptop in England.
I had come across an artist called 'The Wild Wind' on Spotify and felt that he had a similar spirituality.
We began to message each other and he agreed to produce some of our new stuff.
So we sent the tracks over to him (a wonderful man in Chicago called Patrick Mayberry) and he took the track up a level in terms of it's sound.
We love synthwave, particularly The Midnight, Night Traveller, The Night Game (any band with Night in the name hahaha), so we wanted that big 80s sound.
Patrick shares that love, so between us we came up with a modern take on a nostalgic sound.
We hope the result is a good mix of synthwave textures and yet augmented with real guitars and bass.
In the end we have a track that was recorded in England, the United States, and also Canada where our keyboard player lives.
