"Italian indie electronic artist Different DNA, it's doing honor to their name with this super melodic hit 'Runaway', this track features a captivating balance of modern music production and classic alternative and electronic '80s styles.
Sometimes reminding us to elements or airs of Pet Shop Boys, Thompson Twins, and even sometimes some nuances from The Smiths too, at the end with so many high-quality influences, Different DNA achieves a modern and fresh style of their own.
The song in itself is very dynamic and solid from its core, combining nonpretentious drums, enigmatic synth pads, and charming guitar parts. The piano parts are very catchy and as we told before, they at some points remind of the most classic old school '80s new wave.
The music production and especially the mixing are super top-notch quality, offering a nice blend of indie rock pop organic textures and more synthwave oriented sonic parts.
Finally, the vocals are perfectly tuned for this one and feel as dynamic and catchy as the whole music foundation.
