The song uneasy and at the sametime pleasant guitar tones guide you through a dramatic narrative of mistery and perhaps nightmareich moments as the artist shares the premise of the song: "the realization that you've been living in someone else's dream and not your own. You've given someone else the keys to your car, and now they are driving you off the cliff", and it definitely pays tribute to the core of that idea. The dreamy attractive vocals of Ieva Berberian imprint a perturbated sensation and specially the beautifully constructed chorus lines conduct you through a superb and slightly disturbing state of resignation, it's quite a ride (no pun intended). IEVA is a trio based in the us, across 3 different cities, boston, new york and los angeles. We all used to live in boston, that is where the band was originally formed. OUR current creative process is very collaborative, we make music in layers, or in fragments like a jigsaw puzzle.

"RIDE" is an example of how all three of us contributed, working in separate studios, using different daws, synths and plug ins. each of us adds our own unique perspective and style to the song. our varied approaches and techniques are completely necessary in developing the overall sound, and honing in on our unified artistic vision.
