"For music lovers of ethereal atmospheres and mellow heartfelt tones and compelling lyrics & vocals, look no further than this version of artist Jack The Underdog's 'Dolly', or more specifically the song remix from electronic music artist CyFi.
This version shines with lustrous synth pads and a solid drumbeat that embraces a modern trip-hop (sometimes hip-hopish) approach that suits firmly this music production.
The remix also achieves a fresh fusion between a dream-pop landscape and an urban downtempo ballad, which CyFi knew how to polish skillfully, taking into account that the vocal style is complex to mix in this blend of genres, to finally consolidate around the core melancholic message of the lyrics.
And talking about the vocals: the execution glows! providing an ambitious tonality, juicy rhythm, euphoric and kind of hypnotic pacing, with a decisive and creative envelope of stylish vocal EFX.
No doubt that CyFi experiments with the right tools to present this engaging remix filled with tuneful melodies and a fervent vocal execution.
It's also worth noting that the final music production/mixing/mastering achieves a modern crisp sound that feels competitive and vanguard.
Please follow CyFi for more of this type of versatile journey of synth styles, remixes and more eclectic electronic textures!
