"'Red Mirror' is a song part of the 'White Flag Single' the latest release from gothic darkwave act Mechanimal from Greece. The song delights in a sophisticated post-punk gothic darkwave direction and accomplishes a tight darkness sentiment with its incremental tension along the well produced synth layers, dramatic guitar tones and simple but classic beat. The vocals that are more spoken oriented and sometimes remind of Peter Murphy or some of the more obscure tracks by Clan Of Xymox, do a great job in implementing a solid & continuous sonic pressure that creatively doesn't reach entirely to its destination, effectively leaving the listener with an ambiguos dark mood in a very good way. If you enjoy obscure tense tracks with spoken oriented vocals, please give a listen to Mechanimal, you'll be pleased in their dark melodies."

ACTUALLY THE TRACK KICKED OFF FROM THE FIRST SH-101 BASSLINE, THEN CAME THE SECOND FROM a KORG MS-20 AND THEN A SIMPLE BEAT FROM the 909.ADDITIONAL SYNTHS AND FX SIT TIGHT FROM MASSIVE AND OMNISPHERE, UNTIL THE SONG SKELETON WAS CONSTRUCTED.
FROM THERE WE BUILT THE SONG PUTTING The voice first, WITH ALL ITS FX, AND LASTLY WE RECORDED THE GUITAR PARTS.
