""Memory" feels like a tragedy from a sci-fi drama soundtrack, it's epic and dense and at the same time it's calming and nostalgic, sometimes with a strange sorrow like hiding an unspoken hope. This amazing instrumental track from the extraordinary London-based producer Mellowdine, fuses a synthwave oriented musical production with some world music elements and very modern sophisticated mixing with a more contemporary cool selection of sounds and beats, the melodies are so heartfelt that communicate a deep emotion that in other words: they just simply do honors to its title. Even if you're not a fan of deep emotional melodies or soundtrack/instrumental oriented music, please give a listen to Mellowdine, you'll be amazed by the quality of his musical production."

INSIDE THE TRACK: [artist's commentary]
London-based producer mellowdine is debuting on our blog with his latest single ‘Memory’. After being classically trained in playing the piano, the German musician slowly elevated his interest for electronic music by starting to produce his own tracks.

The 4th release of the rising talent showcases the various influences under which the new artist is developing. The song starts out with a melancholic and experimental soundscape reminiscent of artists such as Tourist. It quickly picks up speed once the electric guitar is introduced and the listener is prepared for a heavy hitting, yet soothing chorus. The momentum is kept up high and culminates in an epic finish towards the end of the track.

If you enjoy the vibe and melancholic feel of electronic icons ODESZA, Kasbo or Petit Biscuit, combined with some heavy hitting sections inspired by DROELOE - you’ll love this track.
