"U.K. based synthwave/retrowave duo New Arcades recently released their debut album 'Returning Home', and this song 'All I See' covers most of the strengths the band has at their hand: Impressive, emotive and strong vocals, retro polished music production and dreamy synth layers. We have to highlight the emotion achieved in this powerful electronic ballad, the retrowave approach is just right on the spot, the romantic mood is heavily lifted once the vocals start but are taken further in the powerful heartfelt nostalgic chorus. The dreampop influenced synth pads and general emotional atmosphere can remind of classic cinematic 80's electronic soundtracks and can rival even synthpop classics like 'Drive' by The Cars. Make no mistake, this might be their debut album but they have plenty of experience around the electronic synthwave scene. New Arcades is definitely a band deserving a status like other similar high-quality bands like The Midnight or Gunship to name a few (by reading their bio one can learn they were already making vocal synthwave before those more contemporary bands, just noting :) Please add New Arcades to your synthwave library they are really worth the time!"

Lyrically it's a story of lost love and also reminiscing over the special moments and the REALISATION that you have to make the time you share with each other count. musically we wanted to give it lots of depth, using an array of different synth layers mixed with spacey, dreamy guitars covered in delay. The solo after the second chorus is very melancholic and emotional and we wanted to contrast the deeper crooning vocal in the verses with the higher falsetto lines in the choruses.
